Hello everyone!
I appreciate you all continuing to use my recipes and read my posts! It means so much to me.
When I started this website, I planned on keeping it professional and only posting articles and recipes that would be of use to you. While I plan to continue doing that, I would also like to make things a little more personal. After all, we are each on our own journey, and each journey is valuable. The past several months I have gone through many changes in my soul and I see myself growing dramatically spiritually and mentally. I have started to believe that my journey is worthy of sharing just like anyone else’s.
In April, I took a trip to Arizona to visit family and took an overnight trip to Sedona with my grandmother. It was a beautiful experience and a much needed escape from day to day life. (I plan to share more about it soon so you get the itch to visit if you haven’t because it is a MAGICAL place.) I have also been teaching yoga to a group of supportive and encouraging women that I feel so lucky to have found. I started a new job, and I’ve been embracing Buddhism, meditation, art, and joy more than ever before. The past few weeks, I’ve been wood burning, sketching, writing poetry, and allowing my body to move and dance when it feels like it. It has really helped get me out of a slump and helped me to learn more about myself. A lover of history, poetry, yoga, meditation, art, nature, and being free. ❤ I hope to share more of all these things with you.
With that said, I will be getting back to bringing you new recipes and posts in the coming months, so be on the lookout for them! I also wanted to share one of my poems that I’ve written in the past few weeks, and send you happy summer wishes. Hopefully, we can get to know each other a little better. ❤️
A Cup of Tea and Honey
A cup of tea and honey,
in the morning,
on my lips
Mandarin sun, bright and shining
Warm on my skin
The crash of clear blue waves
The sparkling full moon,
The kiss of wind,
Roses, green ivy,
Violets in bloom
Intimacy,
Sweet delicacy
Of summer afternoons
Then starry nights
Spent in his arms
The universe, in tune ✨

Beautiful poem, beautiful woman!
